We’re very excited to announce that Okendo now integrates with Shoelace, the leading retargeting solution for Shopify retailers. This integration enables merchants to turn traditional Dynamic Product Ads into Dynamic Review Ads (DRA) using customer-generated reviews and photos.
Data from Shoelace has demonstrated that Dynamic Reviews Ads perform 1.3x better than regular DPAs. Brands using Dynamic Review Ads also saw their Average Order Value (AOV) increase by 39% when utilising this ad type.
The integration pulls a product's most-recent 5 star reviews in Shoelace and creates a carousel ad featuring 5 products alongside the latest 5-stars reviews for these products. Visitors who viewed one or more products while browsing your website will see the latest 5 star reviews for those products directly within the ad. Visitors that simply visited your homepage, without looking at any products, will see a mix of the latest 5 stars reviews from your best sellers. As long as you have a minimum of 5 Okendo reviews you’ll be able to run Dynamic Review Ads with Shoelace.
How it works
- Ensure both Okendo and Shoelace are installed. You can install Shoelace here.
- Go to the integrations page in the Okendo app (Settings > General > Integrations).
- Find the Shoelace card and turn on the Enable Shoelace feed setting.
- Save your settings by clicking the Save button on the Shoelace card.
- Copy the contents of the Okendo User ID field for use in future steps.
- Follow the instructions in this Shoelace help article to complete the integration within the Shoelace app.
